Kansas Retailer Meth Watch Program

Meth WatchPMCA is proud to be a founding member of Kansas Retailer Meth Watch Program. The program is administered by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment and is aimed at halting the illegal production of methamphetamine in clandestine labs across the state. The Kansas program has become a national model for other states. Since "meth" is produced by using products readily available in retail, convenience and grocery stores, the Kansas Retailer Meth Watch Program is designed to limit the accessibility of products containing ephedrine and pseudoephedrine, the critical components of "meth." The Meth Watch Program provides employee and management training, signage to let customers know the participating retailer is taking steps to reduce the production of methamphetamine, tips on product placement to deter theft, and a close working relationship with local law enforcement agencies. For more information on the Kansas Retailer Meth Watch Program or to obtain Meth Watch materials, contact: Kansas Department of Health and Environment -- 785.368.7301 or fax -- 785.296.4823.
